Collector’s Choice Coins was started in 1988 to share my love and passion for coins and coin collecting with everyone. Over the years, I have gained an abundance of knowledge. As the coin collecting hobby has changed through the years, I find joy in teaching and sharing my knowledge with young and new collectors. I also enjoy exploring other people's collections.

 

As the resident “Coin Guy,” I help evaluate and appraise collections, and, of course,

buy collections! I have two locations: one inside of the Portage jewelry store, Forever Yours Jewelry, Inc., and another at Collector’s Choice Coins in downtown Sun Prairie. With two full-time locations, 

I am very busy but still make time for house visits and coin shows. I always do my best to

make time for my customers. Coin shows are exciting for me. I enjoy "hunting" for the best coins

for my ever-evolving inventory and for my customers’ collections. Hunting for coins might be

my favorite aspect of being the Coin Guy.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Laurie, our two kids, grandkid, grand dogs and our two kitties! Laurie and I also enjoy golfing, biking, skiing, fishing, hiking, and hunting!
